Mixing
Putting it all together
Here at Spice House Sound we use our arsenal of specialty analog equipment to transform your recorded tracks into a finished product you can be proud of.
What’s Mixing?
Mixing is the process of taking all of your recorded tracks and applying effects to make it sound like a finished song. Mixing occurs after the editing and recording stages and before the mastering stage. What do I need to give you?
1. You’ll need to send equal length 24-bit .wav files in your native sample rate through whatever method is easiest for you such as Dropbox or Drive. You’ll be able to get these files from your recording engineer or producer.2. Full Payment through Venmo, Paypal, Cash App, cash, check, or bank wire.
3. You should also include any bouncedowns or references you’ve been listening to through the process.
4. Any notes you have going into the mixing process
What will I get back?
At the end of the process you’ll get back a full res mix-level .wav file that’s prepped and ready for masteringDuring the initial delivery and revision process you’ll get back a .wav file that is mastered-level so you can compare it more easily to other records you like
How many revisions do I get?
After the initial delivery there are 3 revisions built into the mixing price. After revision 3, each revision will be charged hourly at 50/hr
